July 4th is right around the corner, only a few days left. For most of us we spend this day outdoors and enjoying ourselves. How many of us are ready to show off that perfect beach body? For some of us we have been ready since the weather became 70+ degrees. Other of us have been waiting and are still not ready to go on the beach and see washboard ab’s. For those of us in the latter please don’t feel down! It is NEVER to late to start.
To get the perfect beach body always remember it is a matter of time more than anything else. It doesn’t matter how late you start as long as you are fully comitted to getting that perfect beach body. There are few points we need to go over first! Ab’s are made in the kitchen, and what I mean by that is they are the sole result of dieting. You can work your ab’s out every day for the next year and if your diet isn’t right you’ll never get the abs to accompany the beach body. So the first thing is pay attention to what your diet is like. You need to be able to cut fat, so that means sitting at a -500 calorie deficit per day to lose about 2lbs a week.
The next area for that beach body is exercise. There are many different philosophies about how you should work ab’s in order to get those mountainous bulges from your stomach. The best way I found was twice a week blast your ab’s the rest of the week various exercises hit them (squats, lunges, etc). Most exercises hit them to some degree. Remember to help lose weight and get a good beach body is cardio. Cardio is extremely important run 30mins or bike for an hour, get something in as it will help you lean out faster!
So remember it is never too late to work on getting the beach body you just need to focus on your diet and exercise. As the most important thing is time, results are not immediate! I cannot stress this enough to my clients, they expect everything to happen in a matter of a few weeks but it may take over months. Start whenever you’d like but keep it together and always progressing!
